2010 Racing Season Overview
For 2010 we are running 2 different series with 2 different sets of classes and championships.  There will be the normal Whiplash Desert Racing series along with the new Whiplash Closed Course Series.  The closed course series will take place on motocross style, closed courses.  The entry fees for the closed course series are very affordable and you may run as many classes as you wish.  Each class you enter will have two motos (approximately 20 minutes each).  For example if you are a 25 year old amateur level motorcycle racer with a 450cc machine you can enter the 29 and under Amateur class and the Big Bike open class for $50 each. Each of those classes will have two heats so you will race 4 times in one day for $100.
On some of our race dates the Desert Series and the Closed Course series might be be running on the same track.  The Desert Moto will typically be 1 hour long.  On these weekends you may enter the closed course series classes and the desert series race.  There will be a discounted rate for people who wish to run both series on the same weekend. If you have a whiplash desert racing license and race number your race number is reserved for you in the closed course series.
